Our Fitness Principles
Being good stewards of the bodies God has given us, by pursuing and consistently improving our physical fitness and health
Stability, mobility, coordination, strength, agility, speed, flexibility and endurance, using bodyweight exercises, resistance training, cardiorespiratory activities, and games
Safety and joint protection through proper technique and movement
Working hard at something physical to reach a goal
Experiencing the reward of accomplishment and increased confidence after reaching a goal
Perceiving physical activity as fulfilling and fun, especially when shared with others
Gratefulness for the bodies God gave us; each class closes with a brief prayer
Pre-K Classes target gross motor skills such as balance, coordination, flexibility, and spatial/body awareness, while focusing on self-confidence, positive attitude, cooperation, listening/following directions, and healthy life skills
